The acquisition continues Robin's rapid expansion as it strengthens its leadership position in robotics as a service (RaaS) for the U.S. lawn care industry. "Adding Mowbot's experienced operators to the Robin platform will further our goal to expand our presence as a leader in disruptive RaaS technology for the lawn care industry. Robin's innovative platform coupled with Husqvarna's global leadership in robotics will provide leading-edge RaaS solutions for landscapers and industry professionals throughout the sector."

"We believe robotic technology will play a rapidly growing role in the future of lawn care," said Robert McCutcheon, President of Husqvarna North America. A range of the company’s tiltrotators will be available through John Deere construction dealers.

MOLINE, Ill. —John Deere has announced a preferred supplier agreement with engcon, a manufacturer of tiltrotators. Tiltrotator models ranging from the EC204 up to the EC233 will be available through John Deere construction and compact construction equipment and Hitachi excavator dealers. These tiltrotator models match with the John Deere 26G through 345G and Hitachi ZX26 through ZX345 Excavator models.

“We strive to provide our customers with product and technology offerings that improve their performance on the jobsite. When we launched our Smart Industrial strategic direction, we committed to investing our resources in solutions that deliver increased value to our customers, such as this agreement with engcon,” said David Thorne, senior vice president, sales & marketing, John Deere Construction & Forestry. “Our excavators are known for their multi-functioning capabilities and hydraulic control, and, with the addition of the engcon tiltrotators, we’re providing additional solutions to help our customers increase productivity and efficiency on the job.”

The engcon tiltrotators are designed to maximize productivity and profitability. When equipped, a tiltrotator enables an excavator bucket or other attachments to rotate 360 degrees around the axis and tilt up to 45 degrees side to side. A tiltrotator-equipped excavator offers enhanced value for customers, especially those working in tight, challenging jobsites or tackling applications that require precision and versatility. Using a tiltrotator, the time required to complete tasks such as digging, contouring and backfilling is reduced, increasing jobsite production and enhancing the operator’s user experience. Additionally, with a tiltrotator, wear on the machine’s tracks is decreased as a result of reduced travel.

“Through this agreement we’re building on the strengths of engcon and John Deere to enable contractors to optimize machine efficiency and productivity on jobsites that require versatility and precision,” said Krister Blomgren, CEO, engcon Group. “Our proven tiltrotator solution incorporates innovative features to deliver bottom line-boosting results. By offering our lineup through the John Deere and Hitachi excavator dealer networks, customers will have streamlined access to some of the industry’s top products.”

One of the features on the engcon lineup is the quick coupler system, EC-Oil, available for the John Deere 75G through 380G Excavators and Hitachi ZX75 through ZX380 models. EC-Oil allows operators to change attachments equipped with hydraulic and electrical connections from the machine cab, increasing productivity and efficiency.

The engcon tiltrotator lineup will be available at John Deere and Hitachi excavator dealers in the United States and Canada starting in the second half of 2021. For more information, customers can contact their local dealers or visit www.johndeere.com.

The new line of sealant both prevents and repairs flat tires for mowers, UTVs, golf carts and more.

BIG FLATS, N.Y. –Stan’s NoTubes, a tubeless tire sealant company, has announced it’s heading into the outdoor utility equipment market with a full line of specially formulated tire sealant and accessories for a wide variety of landscaping, utility and recreational vehicle applications.

Stan’s new outdoor sealant is made in the U.S. at the company’s Big Flats, N.Y., facility and utilizes a proprietary formula that is injected through the valve stem directly into the tire. Once a tire has been treated with Stan’s, the sealant will effectively repair and prevent punctures up to an ½” in diameter, seal leaks from imperfections along the bead of the tire and prevent further loss of pressure due to weather checking and dry-rot.

The low-viscosity, natural latex formula then remains liquid inside the tire, and continues protecting against flats for up to two years or longer, instantly sealing punctures in the tread and sidewalls as they occur by rushing a blend of sealant and healing crystals to the puncture site, which then combine to form a permanent repair before air pressure is lost.

“One of the biggest complaints we hear from local business owners is that flat tires create late starts and unplanned downtime. Whether that’s a landscaping company, a golf course, construction crew or anyone else running an operation that depends heavily on equipment with pneumatic tires, having to constantly repair or replace tires on equipment leeches profits and creates a huge obstacle to keeping a business on schedule,” said Brett Beard, product manager of outdoor equipment at Stan’s Sealant.

Stan’s new outdoor sealant works in both tubeless and innertube applications on everything from wheelbarrow and hand truck tires all the way up to full-size tractor tires.

“When Stan’s first started out in the mountain bike tire industry two decades ago, we set out to develop a solution to the constant battle with flat tires and the time we wasted repairing them. We ended up with a product that was so consistently rated as the best on the market, our brand name became synonymous with tire sealant as a whole. We’re bringing that same quality and performance to the landscaping and outdoor tire markets now,” said Mike Bush, president of Stan’s NoTubes.

Along with their new sealant, Stan’s is also introducing two new accessories as optional companion tools for streamlined sealant application: A machined aluminum schrader valve core removal tool that features internal storage for spare valve cores, and a threaded sealant applicator designed to simplify the injection process even further.

This revolutionary new sealant is currently available in both 16 oz. (17.00 MSRP) and 32 oz. ($28.00 MSRP) sizes.  For more information, visit www.StansSealant.com.
